I assume it is a DC motor. You should have DC voltage coming out of the solar cell (For example 10V). You could use a transistor to switch the voltage on and off, then filter the output with an RC filter. You will have to choose the right RC time...

The question is not too clear, as solar chargers are in fact d/c power as is the batteries they charge. To get a/c power from the system you will need an "inverter", and they come in various sizes, watts that is.

Solar panel plan is a topic for board of education in West Milford

Township of West Milford and Board of Education (BOE) members remain interested in a Herald News page one report on Dec. 20, 2011 that announced Passaic County has gone back to the drawing board regarding plans to construct solar panels on public buildings in West Milford and other county municipalities.

The West Milford BOE promised the Passaic County Improvement Authority (PCIA) they would make a decision at a January meeting regarding participation in the county plan. The scheduled BOE meeting dates are a workshop/budget/special action meeting on Jan. 17 and the regular meeting on Jan. 24.

The PCIA discussed the County Renewable Energy Program at the Dec. 13, 2011 BOE meeting. The presenting team wanted the BOE to adopt a resolution for participation in the solar energy program that night but trustees refused. Trustees said they had many unanswered questions.

SUMMARY: In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended, and the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, as amended, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the California Energy Commission (CEC) have prepared a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), Draft California Desert Conservation Area (CDCA) Plan Amendment, and Staff Assessment (SA) as a joint environmental analysis document for the CESSM BSPP Project, Riverside County, California, and by this notice are announcing the opening of the comment period.

DATES: To ensure that comments will be considered, the BLM must receive written comments on the Draft EIS/SA and Plan Amendment within 90 days following the date the Environmental Protection Agency publishes its Notice of Availability in the Federal Register. The BLM will announce future meetings or hearings and any other public involvement activities at least 15 days in advance through public notices, media releases, and/or mailings.
