I saw this at a tool supply store. Thank you!!
sounds to me it wouldnt even have enough power to light a lightblub!!
Heres a look at my solar panel kit. I do not suggest you buy them online, I got them for around 150ish in the store when they went on sale. They ...
Exactly How much power will this kit produce? for example. Will it only be able to power the 2 light throughout an entire day or would it be able to power a couple TV's with a couple lights. Or a Refrigerator? washer dryer? I'm just wondering...
Yes, 80 watts will be nearly twice as useful as 45 watts - but 80 is still a small number. Solar panel systems need an inverter and there's a slight energy loss at the inverter. And, if you want to use the day's energy at night, you'll need a battery
Weather proof
Monocrystalline (more efficient than Multi/Poly)
45 Watts (59W?)
The inverter is only designed to deliver 300 watts, so no.
There must be a battery in there, you didn't mention it. If you work out the current that a suitable inverter would need to draw to drive a suitable inverter, and the battery is...

i want to try some solar power stuff out. the solar panel generates 45 watt DC. the duracell 600 is designed for jump starting your car so it has the standard caples with clamps. i was wondering if you could charge the duracell 600 through its clamps
You would attach the solar panel to the DC input socket on the Duracell 600. The specs are 2.5 amps (max) 12 volts (nominal). This would roughly equate to a 30 watt, 12 volt, solar panel. Note: you should also use a small charge controller with this
i found a solar panel that makes 45 watts how many volts comes out of that its on harborfreight.com please help
I think that 45-watt kit is really 3, 15-watt panels. Each is of an appropriate voltage to charge a 12V car-type battery when directly connected. If you were to measure the voltage in bright sun when a battery was not connected, the voltage...

Sounds like the system "Liz" described is kind of cobbled together; you want to install a "listed" solar photovoltaic system, and have it installed in a "Code compliant" manner.
Depending on who or...

45 watt solar panel video | Alternative Renewable Energy Sources
I’ll put it to you the way it was originally explained to me. Think of electricity like water. The gauge of the wire is the pipe size. The larger the pipe the more water flow(amps) that can move in the pipe, without overheating the wiring. Voltage is like the pressure behind the dam, pushing on the water(amps) inside the the pipe. As the water(amps) move away from the dam(panels), it looses water pressure (amps) due to friction(resistance). 24v panels loose 1/4 the amps as 12v panels. More force
I wasn’t sure, so I sent the question to the tech support for the 3024. They said that it is not designed for windmills. The unit goes to sleep when the watts drop, and it waits for 5 minutes before looking for power. Rogue said that they would consider making a unit designed for wind turbines, as it sounds like a good project. Tech support is not aware of any units for wind that can do a 24v to 12v setup.
