20 Watt Solar Panel

I'm looking into buying some solar panels. I've found this SharpND-22441F solar panel that is 224 watts and 20 volts. I want to know how much energy it will produce on a given day. I live in Kansas City and found that our peak sunlight hrs average

20 Watts is just too little power to do much. Using it to trickle-charge a pair of deep-cycle batteries, then using them with an inverter to run a laptop or one lamp after dark is an idea.

"kilo" means thousand. So, a 5 to 8 klowatt panel should generate 5000 to 8000 kw per hour assuming the rating is kwh (kilowatt hour). You also need to factor in whether it is a sunny or cloudy day. Also, the price quoted you is way to high

You measure electrical energy in kilo-watt-hours. So for example, you might pay the power company $.14 per kilo-watt-hour.

A typical panal might put out 100watts. So if you had 10 hours of sun, you could generate 1 killowatthour...
