12 Volt Solar Cells

I`m working on a solar project, need to know how many cells would it take to light a 4 watt bulb? I put some cells in series to get my 13-15 volts, only problem is when I put them in parallel I can`t get the needed volts or current needed to light...

You need to put in series to get voltage and then the same amount in parallel until you get the current needed.

Well the speed with which you want to charge those batteries is a direct relationship to what size solar panels you need. Lot's will do the trick. However, the charge controller you use dictates the voltage limits.

The inverter should be powered from a 12 Volts Source of DC and the required out put shouled be 220 Volts AC.
