2 Watt Solar Charger

I'm looking for an affordable way to charge a large 12v battery with solar power, but with a float so I don't boil it over and ruin the battery or worse. A year ago my brother and I nearly burned his house down with a tiny 0.5 watt solar charger that

they run about 30 dollars for a marine one. Mine works very well.

It is a solar trickle-charger for the battery. Would be handy on a vehicle that doesn't get driven much.
