7 Amp Charge Controller

I am looking to buy a 15 watt solar panel, a 7 amp charge controller, to charge my 105 amp hour deep cycle battery.

I am going to be running 2 fans that use .52 amps each for 7 hours for 3 days. How much will the solar panel charge...

Your battery will run down. You are using more electricity than you are replacing. Figure on at least a 45 watt solar panel per 12 volt deep cycle battery if you want to return the battery to full charge each day.

Charge controllers that are meant for Solar charging are significantly different to Battery Chargers meant to be used on AC. I suggest using an Automatic battery charger and adding a Solar charger controller at a later date.

The answer is that the two panels should be put in parallel. The voltage out will drop to the voltage of the lower panel, but you should get most of the power, if the panels aren't too badly mismatched.

You are way ahead of me but I did find this website that might help with the solar isolation question .
